A glorious start to Spring and the commencement of wedding season was enjoyed on Saturday, 2nd September 2017 at Newcastle NSW.
Michael & Bridget declared their love in front of family & friends at St Mary’s Catholic Church, Newcastle. We then traveled by a very funky Kombi Van and explored an amazing old railway tunnel situated under the outer suburbs of Newcastle NSW.
I was in love with the diversity of the photographs we produced, and after the railway tunnel, we chugged our way to the art-deco era building which is the awesome Newcastle Ocean Baths.
The wind started playing havoc, however, the sky was absolutely magical and was changing by the minute. Anyone who knows me knows I love to get that awesome shot, and the bridal party couldn’t argue with me to climb the high steps which had a sheer drop on the other side straight into the South Pacific ocean. The gorgeous bride – Bridget was fabulous and although holding on for dear life, managed to pull it off (stilettos and all)
With implacably elegant styling, I’m fortunate to capture many beautiful pieces including a gorgeous gown by one of my favs, Karen Willis Holmes.
I was very fortunate to kick off the wedding season with such a beautiful bridal party and was even more fortunate to have Emma Johnson join our team to 2nd shoot & assist myself.
