Goodness me !!!
What a fabulous heartfelt wedding I had the privilege of photographing on Saturday in Adelong, NSW.
Meeting Andrew & Court on Thursday, we had a quick scout around for possible photo locations, and in the knowledge that Peter is from the UK (as was half of the guests) including his groomsmen, Adelong sure did produce a spectacular day for the tourists which even included a snake at the Church’s outback dunny (aussie slang for toilet)
So special were the sentiments during the day, with Court receiving a beautiful family brooch and her Great Grandmother’s wedding band mined from famous Adelong Gold to including the couple’s fabulous Kombi Van’s and classic VW Bettle, lovingly restored especially for their wedding day. We even ventured to special locations which for Court, included her childhood swimming hole – the historic and picturesque Adelong Falls.
A somewhat precarious walk into the Adelong Falls, even more difficult for the Bridesmaids who still had their heels on, and constantly on the look out for sun baking brown snakes, we all relished in the incredible scenery once we got to the base of the Falls.
Enjoying some British humour during the reception, we all enjoyed watching video messages received from the Couple’s family & friends from all over the world before Andrew & Court entertained us with a beautiful choreographed first dance.
Wishing you a long and happy future of love together, thank you for allowing me to capture your wedding day xxx
